Does Cafe Flora have outdoor dining?
Yes — Cafe Flora has one of Seattle’s most beloved outdoor patios, seating up to 50 guests in a beautifully landscaped setting. The outdoor patio is covered with both heaters and fans. Cafe Flora also has a stunning light-filled atrium that feels like dining outdoors year-round with radiant heat in the floors and a bubbling fountain in the center. The atrium has huge light filled windows that slide open in summer. Both spaces are perfect for brunch, lunch, or dinner.
Is Cafe Flora good for vegans?
Absolutely. While Cafe Flora is a vegetarian restaurant, many of our dishes are fully vegan or can be made vegan on request. Our kitchen is experienced in plant-based cooking and our team is happy to guide you through vegan options across all menus.
Does Cafe Flora have gluten-free options?
Yes. We offer a range of gluten-free dishes across our brunch, lunch, and dinner menus including our iconic gluten free waffle at brunch and a range of gluten free entrees at dinner. Our staff can walk you through what’s available and help accommodate gluten sensitivities. Please let your server know about any dietary needs when you arrive.
Is Cafe Flora a good brunch spot in Seattle?
Cafe Flora has been one of Seattle’s favorite brunch destinations for over 30 years. We serve weekend brunch on Saturdays and Sundays starting at 8AM, with a menu of inventive dishes made from locally sourced, seasonal ingredients.
Do you need a reservation at Cafe Flora?
Reservations are accepted for dinner and can be made online via Tock, we take dinner reservations for half of our tables, leaving the rest of them available for walk-in guests. For brunch and lunch we accept reservations for parties of 6 or more with the rest of the dining room available for walk-in only. We recommend arriving early on weekends as brunch can fill up quickly.
Is Cafe Flora fully vegetarian?
Yes — Cafe Flora is a fully vegetarian restaurant. No meat is served at any time. Our menu draws on global culinary traditions and Pacific Northwest ingredients to create satisfying, creative dishes that appeal to vegetarians, vegans, and omnivores alike.

Yes — Cafe Flora is a popular Seattle venue for private events. Our atrium seats up to 54 guests (or 65 for a standing cocktail party) and our outdoor patio accommodates up to 50 seated or 65 standing. Contact us to inquire about availability.
How long has Cafe Flora been open?
Cafe Flora has been serving Seattle since 1991 — over 30 years. It’s one of the city’s longest-running vegetarian restaurants and a true Seattle institution in the Madison Valley neighborhood. Cafe Flora is one of the oldest vegetarian restaurants in the country.
Does Cafe Flora serve alcohol?
Yes, we have a full drinks menu including craft cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options. Our beer and wine menu features Northwest wineries and breweries. Our cocktail menu changes regularly and features creative combinations that highlight local seasonal produce and local small batch spirits. Cafe Flora also has very popular non-alcoholic cocktails, non-alcoholic wines, non-alcoholic champagnes, and non-alcoholic beer.
Does Cafe Flora Serve Afternoon Tea?
Yes, Cafe Flora serves its popular afternoon tea menu three times a year, in October for Halloween, in December for the Holidays, and in March/April to celebrate the start of Spring.
